Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These terms cover the apps offered on trymcapps.store, including UtilityPad, and this website. They're written in plain language. By downloading or using an app, you agree to them.
Who we are
trymcapps.store is a small, independent maker of Mac apps. You can reach us at [email protected].
Buying Pro
Paid upgrades, such as UtilityPad Pro, are sold through Dodo Payments, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments processes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt and license key. Their terms also apply to your purchase.
- Prices are shown at checkout, including any tax for your country.
- Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Updates are included.
- One license key can be used on up to 2 Macs you own or use. To move it, remove it from one Mac in the app's settings first.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Free features and trials
The free features of our apps stay free. Trials of paid features end automatically; nothing is charged when a trial ends.
Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use our apps on your Macs. Please don't resell, redistribute or share license keys, and don't try to bypass license checks.
How the apps work
Our apps are distributed directly, not through the Mac App Store. Some use parts of macOS that Apple doesn't officially document (for example, reading raw trackpad touches). A future macOS update could change or break a feature; we'll try to fix things quickly, but we can't promise every feature will work on every future version of macOS.
No warranty
The apps are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make them reliable, but we can't guarantee they'll be free of bugs or suit every purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an app is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes will be noted on this page.
